Flash disguised as soldier / guard - secret passageway / tunnel / door. Flash eavesdropping / listening to villain Emperor Ming and soldiers scheme / plan. Bluffing. Flash returns to laboratory - communication screen ( television ).
All escape through secret passageway / tunnel / doorway.

'Z.O ship.' Soldiers electrocuted - death ray, as pass through gate - explosion. Flash steals / takes off in Z.O space / rocket ship.
Enemy discovers the escape. Series of shots as heroes space / rocket ships fly through the air.

Traitor soldier pulls lever - traps enemy and villain Emperor Ming. Hero Flash Gordon jumps through trap door - parachute ( LS as falls through air, cloudy shot ).
